About KAVI

Kitgum Agriculture and Vocational Institute (KAVI) established in 2015 is mandated to train and equip middle-level manpower with the requisite skills and knowledge in modern agricultural practices and agribusiness skills to provide technical and advisory services to farmers. The skills and knowledge acquired assist them in setting up their own private agribusiness enterprises.

KAVI is registered and incorporated under Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) since the year 2015. Registration No. 80010000894466/215092 with headquarters in Kitgum, Uganda.

KAVI is a recognized tertiary institution licensed by Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports AND accredited by Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB). Our UBTEB center number is UBV028 since 2016.

KAVI provides an enriched and diverse learning environment for our students. Founded in 2015, our College is located in Kitgum and reflects the various backgrounds and cultures of the area. Our teachers are passionate, experienced, and eager to pass on their knowledge to their students.
